Great Humorous Adventure
August 30, 2013 This review is from: Travels with Judy: In Search of Steinbeck's America (Paperback)
I love to read books that keep me smiling. Adventures with Judy was filled with quirky little stories of Vicki's travels that were so funny I was laughing out loud at times! I loved the way she described what she saw along the way that I could picture myself in the passenger seat beside her. I think this book is definitely worth the read. Great job!
"I grabbed Travels with Judy as I rushed out the door to work yesterday. I enjoyed it so much, I blew off weeding the flower beds and sat in the sun to read. I continued until bedtime, and just finished it on today's lunch hour. I want to thank to for an entertaining, humorous, and delightful read. I love it when a book makes me laugh out loud to myself...."
Spread the word and pre-order your copy at Moon Palace Books in South Minneapolis! I'll be there on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. to see you! (Psst: I'm bringing cheesecake as a bribe...)

Hope to see ya'll there!
I am thrilled to be signing books at Subtext in St. Paul on Saturday, June 8, at 7:00 p.m. Stay tuned for a full schedule soon!
NEWS FLASH! "Travels with Judy" is now available in yet another store or two near you--at least for those of you in the beautiful twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Pick up a copy at Moon Palace Books in south Minneapolis some bright and sunny spring afternoon. Then you can head down to Minnehaha Falls, find a soft patch of warm grass, and read about how I succeeded in finding Golden Valley, where Steinbeck so famously failed.
Or if you're east of the Mississippi, it is now available at Subtext: A Bookstore, or Common Good Books in St. Paul. (I understand Subtext has placed it in the honorable location on the counter right by the check-out register!) Pick up a copy and head to W.A. Frost or your favorite Grand Avenue bistro to read about my rainy-day adventures in discovering F. Scott Fitzgerald's birthplace just down the road.
It makes a great Mother's Day gift, too! (At least my mom liked it, anyway.) Cheers!
Huzzah!! My first reading/signing in the Twin Cities! Come on down all you Minnesotans--there will be coffee! (Psst: "Travels with Judy" makes a great Father's Day gift!)
